Many RV and van accessories, such as bed lifts and air conditioner control modules, are run by a wall controller that simply connects two wires together to make something happen. The ROAMiQ 8-Channel Digital Switching Module stands in for that wall controller. Its eight isolated outputs connect wires together on command from ROAMiQ, exactly the way a button press would.

Eight digital inputs let the original wall switches keep working, so ROAMiQ sees every button press and the switches stay in place for anyone who prefers them.

Eight Isolated Outputs
Each output uses a solid-state PhotoMOS relay, so it switches silently, never wears out like a mechanical relay, and stays electrically isolated from the module's own electronics. Several outputs can be switched at the same time, just like holding more than one button.

Selectable Output Common
A three-position COM selector ties the shared output common to 12V, to ground, or leaves it isolated for true dry-contact switching. That covers controllers that switch to ground, switch to 12V, or simply connect two pins together.

Eight Digital Inputs
Read wall switches, rocker switches, or other control signals. Inputs work with switches to ground or 12V signals, and any input can be set in software as the common for a set of switches.

Two Ways to Wire
Outputs and inputs are each available on an RJ45 jack and an 8-position screw terminal. Use a patch cable to an RJ11/RJ12 controller, or land individual wires on the terminals.

Protected Outputs
Every output has its own resettable fuse and surge suppression, protecting the module from overloads and the voltage spikes that relay coils can produce.

Over-the-Air Updates
Firmware updates are delivered through ROAMiQ, so the module keeps improving after installation.

Automation Ready
Include controlled accessories in ROAMiQ scenes and routines, and use wall switch presses to trigger anything else in ROAMiQ.

Why It Matters

Compatibility

Designed for use with ROAMiQ systems and accessories controlled by low-current switch or button signals.

This module is for control signals only. It does not power motors, lights, pumps, or other loads directly. Do not exceed 0.5A or 24V DC on any output. Compatibility depends on the accessory's controller, wiring, and signal type. Verify compatibility before ordering or installation.

Important Installation Notes

Professional installation is recommended. Proper wiring, COM selector position, fuse protection, polarity, and system testing must be completed before use.

When an output drives an external relay coil, that relay should have a protection diode across its coil. The installer is responsible for confirming that each connected accessory is compatible with the ROAMiQ 8-Channel Digital Switching Module and that all controls operate safely and correctly after installation.
